Quick Ideation and Brainstorming

OGROOT is a complete system which can fulfill daily vegetable requirements of an urban family. It is a self-sustaining system that facilitates the growth of all kinds of vegetables by supplying water and compost, as and when needed. The Planter is designed to be self-watering, easy to harvest, self-composting and has app-integrated assistance for the user. Water is regularly fed to the plants from water compartment through a battery powered motor. Drain pipe takes excess water back to the main storage tank. The flap at the back of the planter eases out the process of harvesting root vegetables. Modular sizes of the planters help in the growth of different kinds of vegetables as per the family requirements. Compost tea is automatically fed to the plants at regular interval. At the onset of every crop cycle, compost as collected in the compost tray can be fed to the plants manually. The app will assist the user with timely updates about vegetable requirements, ideal crop combinations and compost feeds. It will also notify the user about the date of sowing, pruning and harvest.
